Dental Cleaning & Exams

Stay healthy with our preventive services. Our dentists and hygienists will utilize 3D digital X-rays, intraoral cameras and intraoral scanning to assess your oral health and formulate a cleaning plan that works best for you and your family’s needs.

Treatments include:

Fluoride Treatment

Topical fluoride varnish helps restore damaged enamel surface when applied after your cleaning. Think of it as a stronger version of the fluoride in your toothpaste. Fluoride treatments are offered to our patients free of charge regardless of your insurance coverage.

Benefits of Fluoride:

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are a non-invasive protective coating applied to the deep grooves of teeth where cavities often form. Sealants help patient’s clean their teeth more effectively and prevent decay from forming in difficult to reach areas.

Benefits of Dental Sealants:

Digital X-Rays

Our office offers fully digital X-rays to accurately and effectively diagnose dental issues with significantly less radiation than old film radiographs.  Our practice also utilizes panoramic and 3D X-Rays to help diagnose issues often overlooked by regular radiographs.

Benefits of Digital X-Rays:

Periodontal Care

Healthy gums are vital to your overall health and smile. Gum disease is common and can lead to serious dental and health issues if untreated. Our hygienists check for it at every exam and may recommend deep cleanings and more frequent visits. We offer numbing options to keep you comfortable during treatment.

Benefits of Periodontal Care:

Night Guards

Teeth grinding (bruxism) is common and often caused by stress, sleep issues, or airway obstruction. It can lead to jaw pain, tooth sensitivity, broken teeth, and changes in your bite—especially when it happens at night. To protect your smile, we offer custom night guards made from a digital 3D scan, designed for a precise fit and comfort with a soft inner liner.

Benefits of night guards:

Kids Dentistry

Happy, healthy smiles start early! We recommend your child’s first dental visit by age one or when their first tooth comes in. These early “happy visits” help kids feel at ease with a quick exam, a tour, and a prize. We’ll offer tips for home care and diet, answer your questions, and gradually introduce cleanings and X-rays as they grow. Starting early helps prevent cavities and sets the stage for healthy adult teeth.

Frequently Asked Questions.

It is extremely helpful to bring your child into the dentist at their first birthday or first tooth. While education and monitoring for issues are important, it is very beneficial for our team to establish a relationship with you little one and for them to become familiar with us. Young patients who are familiar with the dentist have an easier time with X-rays and other treatment as they get older. Patients who come to us for the first time around four or five years old are often quite fearful and may have already developed issues that needs correction.

Keeping baby teeth healthy and intact is important for many reasons. Overall health is directly linked to dental health. We also want to avoid any dental conditions that could be painful for your little one. Additionally, one of the biggest reasons to keep the baby teeth healthy is to maintain the space between the teeth. This helps prevent crowding of the adult teeth and can prevent extended orthodontic treatment down the road.

We recommended bringing your child in every 6 months.

Consistency is key with kids. Visits to the dentist can be a bit scary for the first few visits, but delaying care is rarely the best choice. We find with children that are fearful will do better and better with each visit until they reach the point where they are very comfortable with treatment. When children who are afraid to visit the dentist develop issues and need treatment, it is more likely the child will need sedation or general anesthesia to treat these issues. We hope to establish a connection with children much earlier on so when treatment is needed, we are able to complete it easily with a team of people they’re already familiar with.
